State Green Party wins mayor spot, may put 2 on SF Board of Supervisors, and amass at least 5 wins statewide after Tuesday’s election

The Green Party will assume the No. 1 elected office in another California city, and may yet have two members on the powerful San Francisco Board of Supervisors after preliminary results were announced for Tuesday’s election.
